We are required by law to collect sales tax in several states (see below for the full list). If your state is listed here and you have not ordered with us before, we will need some information from you in order to set your account up as tax exempt.
Please email your State Sales Tax Exempt Cert to email@example.com before placing order.
The required form must be the actual Sales Tax Exemption Cert issued by the state and must include either the State sales tax id# or federal tax id#. W9 forms are not acceptable.
In addition to the certificate, we need the following information:
Name of the Agency Placing the Order
Email and Phone Number
Mailing Address and Shipping Address (if different)
Once we receive this information, we will set up your account and advise you once the account is activated.
If you are planning to place an online order, you need to set up your online account before you send us your details, and advise if the email used for your online account is different than the one providing the tax certificate.
If you see that your account is showing taxes for an online order and you are tax exempt, you may check out and select pay by invoice, but do not pay by credit card online as it is very difficult for us to refund taxes charged online.
